welcome to Rob perry’s online gallery
After leaving The Gemini School of Art in 1992 Rob quickly established himself as a freelance illustrator, finding much of his work from the world of sport. Combining his ability to capture a likeness with his training in landscape painting, he was ideally suited to producing iconic images of stars from horse racing, motor racing and cricket, including Damon Hill, Michael Schumacher, Brian Lara and Alec Stewart.
In 2008 Rob was Commissioned commissioned by Saatchi & Saatchi to produce four paintings of sporting dogs for their Otrivin campaign. These were awarded a gold award at the EPICA, Europe’s advertising awards.
Rob has undertaken portrait commissions from many private clients such as George Cole MBE, Ross Brawn and he has recently completed two paintings for the Benyon family at Englefield House.
